We are proud to share that a new batch of Dennison slider trailers is joining the Collease fleet.

Last week, Emma Colby, Group Director, and Chris Amis, Director of Collease, visited the Dennison factory to see the trailers being prepared for service and to meet the team responsible for their manufacture.

This latest investment is another important step in the ongoing development of the Collease fleet. Continued investment in modern equipment helps ensure we can provide reliable rental solutions for operators across the UK.

A partnership built over decades

Collease and Dennison have worked together for more than 50 years. We believe it is important to work with trusted manufacturers that share our focus on quality, reliability and long-term performance. These values continue to be reflected in the equipment we provide to our customers.

Strong supplier relationships matter because they help ensure consistent build quality, dependable product support and access to equipment that can meet the demands of modern transport operations.

Seeing the build process first-hand

The visit to the Dennison factory gave Emma and Chris the opportunity to see the latest slider trailers being prepared for service before joining the Collease fleet.

They were also able to meet the engineers and production teams behind the trailers. Understanding how equipment is built, specified and prepared for operation is an important part of maintaining the standards we expect across our fleet.

What makes slider trailers an important addition?

For container transport operations, slider trailers provide valuable flexibility. The sliding chassis allows operators to adjust the trailer configuration for different container lengths, helping them meet varying operational requirements without changing trailers.

They also support axle weight distribution requirements, which can help operators manage compliance with road weight regulations when carrying different loads. In busy transport environments, that flexibility can make planning and vehicle utilisation more efficient.

Dennison’s slider trailers are designed for demanding commercial use, with a focus on durability and reliability across long periods of operation.

Supporting operators across the UK

The additional trailers strengthen Collease’s ability to support operators with:

  • Increased rental availability
  • Support for planned fleet requirements
  • Additional capacity during seasonal peaks
  • Contingency cover when vehicles are off the road
  • Flexible short and long-term hire options.

Whether customers are planning fleet maintenance, responding to temporary increases in demand or managing unexpected vehicle downtime, additional trailer availability helps keep operations moving.

Investing in the future of the fleet

These latest additions form part of Collease’s wider fleet investment strategy. Our focus remains on providing modern, well-maintained equipment and supporting customers as logistics and transport requirements continue to evolve.

We would like to thank the team at Dennison for their continued partnership and for the opportunity to see the latest slider trailers being prepared for service.

These new additions reinforce our commitment to delivering reliable, flexible rental solutions for operators across the UK, and we look forward to seeing them supporting customers’ operations in the months and years ahead.
